This Highfield Qualification is for those people wishing to obtain the knowledge and qualifications required to apply for a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Door Supervisor licence to practice.
Subjects covered include; behavioural standards, legislation relevant to the role, search procedures, powers of arrest, recording incidents and crime scene preservation, reducing risk, conflict management, communicating effectively and physical intervention.
It is divided into 4-units and is assessed through 4 multiple-choice examinations, written tests and practical tests.
There is an obligation on our part to video some of the assessments that we carry out. This is a regulatory requirement but also helps to ensure our training is always at the highest standard.
Our tutors will work to ensure that the camera is as unobtrusive as possible, please do not worry about this as we will also make this a fun exercise.
