The Level 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety qualification is suitable for individuals working in the spectator safety industry wishing to gain a nationally recognised and regulated qualification in spectator safety supervision.
This accredited qualification is aimed at learners who wish to gain a nationally recognised and accredited qualification in spectator safety whilst working in or working towards the role of a Supervisor. The Level 3 Spectator Safety qualification meets the requirements laid out in the Football Licensing Authority’s Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (known as the Green Guide).

In order to achieve this certificate, learners are required to complete the following five mandatory units:

The total qualification time for this qualification is 310 hours, of which 146 are recommended as guided learning hours. Depending on which optional units are chosen, the guided learning hours may increase.
After completing the underpinning knowledge for the qualification online over 3 consecutive days with the tutor, learners will then be assessed at least once by a portfolio of evidence whilst working in the spectator safety environment. The cost of this course includes 1 assessment day. Learners will need to arrange with an employer for one of our assessors to attend a live event where they are working in the role of a supervisor.

Step 3: Complete the registration form we send to your email and send to us with your ID. You are enrolled and confirmed at this stage.
Step 4: Complete the pre-requisites sent via email prior to your course dates.
Step 5: Join the online 3-day training led by the tutor. You must have a working camera switched on during delivery and a working microphone.
Step 6: Complete the course workbooks and submit your work.
Step 7: Book an assessment day with one of our assessors as agreed with your workplace. (1st assessment day included in the price)
Step 8: Gather additional evidence as required following assessment day
Step 9: Book additional Assessment Day if required (An additional charge will apply)
Step 10: Work submitted for quality checks and certification
